GREAT NEWS!

DARDA is pleased to announce that this year, we will resume the Toy Drive after a two year hiatus caused by the restrictions of the Coronavirus Pandemic. We are very excited to bring this initiative back and are beginning our planning and fundraising as early as possible to ensure that we are able to help as many children as possible.

2019 Toy Drive

We want to express our tremendous thanks to all who contributed to the Toy Drive in 2016. With your help, we were able to send over 1,200 toys and treat bags to 24 villages in Dominica. DARDA was also able to contribute almost 100 additional toys and treats to the President's Foundation and the Social Centre,

How You Can Help

Your contributions enable us to supply toys and treats to as many villages as possible. We request monetary donations that will be used towards the purchase of toys, or donations of new toys that will be sent to the children of Dominica in time for their Christmas celebrations. Any donation would be greatly appreciated as even one toy can make a difference.

Who We've Helped

Since its inception, the Toy Drive has provided toys to several villages throughout Dominica at Christmastime. Refer to the map to see some of the many villages DARDA has provided with toys as a result of DARDA's annual toy drive efforts,

DARDA’s Annual Toy Drive has been a continuous effort by Dominicans living in America to bring the joy of Christmas to less fortunate children of the island of Dominica.

In addition to the work DARDA does through its educational and social initiatives, we also wanted to ensure that we remembered the youngest Dominicans and the small things that help make childhood fun. The Toy Drive committee consists of Dominicans who are dedicated to this cause. Each year donations are collected to purchase toys to be shipped to the island at Christmastime.
